We have had such a fun animal day today organised by our School Parliament. It started off with us having a little parade showing our fantastic animal clothes to Ms Mckerrow’s class. We then made an amazing trail of coins kindly donated by you. The children loved this activity and both classes worked so well together as a team to put the trail together.
We then went on to making some brilliant woodland animals out of clay, the children were so creative with their animals. We were then very lucky to receive a visit from Mak’s mum who is a vet. She kindly brought in some pets for us to stroke and also some equipment in for us to role play with. We learnt a vet’s role and what some poorly animals need to make them better. We even listened to Pepsi the dog’s heart beat using a stethoscope! Thank you so much Mrs Jaki for bringing the animals into school.
